Did You Miss Registration Day?
If you missed Registration Day, please make sure to print the 5 forms from the “Resources” tab on the Martin Orchestra Website and return to school. The Medical Form MUST be notarized. Please send your $80 orchestra activity fee to school with your child (checks made out to MHS Orchestra) OR pay it online at https://arlington.revtrak.net/High-Schools/Martin-High-School/#/list
After forms have been turned in & activity fee has been paid, we will issue your child a uniform.
When doing alterations, please cut the chiffon on the dresses. Do not hem the chiffon.
If men’s pants need to be altered, please try to hem first. If cutting is necessary, that is okay.
We recommend going to Helga’s for alterations. She is familiar with our uniforms. https://www.helgasalterations.com/
Spring Trip to Disney World date is March 13-17, 2019. Total cost will be $1600. Further information is not yet available. Students will receive an information packet as soon as it is available. Current 10-12 grade students are eligible for travel.
Our Booster Club has set up a Scentsy Fundraiser that will begin on Thursday, September 6th. The profits from this fundraiser will help offset the cost of programs. The Booster Club will reward the top-selling class.
The Program Advertisement deadline has been extended to Monday, September 10th. Any student is eligible to purchase a Tribute Ad. Please consider purchasing a business ad for your personal business or your place of work.

If you have yet to join the Martin Orchestra Booster Club (MOBC), please consider doing so! Membership is FREE. There are plenty of opportunities – large & small – to get involved and help out the MHS Orchestra Program. http://martinorchestra.com/membership/
The next Booster meeting is Tuesday, September 11th at Colter’s BBQ at 7pm. These meetings usually last about 30 minutes. Come a bit early to grab dinner!
Our first Concert of the year is on Tuesday, October 2nd at 6:30pm. Be on the lookout for an opportunity to help this concert run smoothly. We always need parents to pass out programs and open doors. The time commitment is minimal and it helps us a tremendous amount!
